Queen of Peace Messages:  for your discernment ...

Gospa Message to the world of March 25th, 2014 as given to Marija, visionary of Medjugorje:

"Dear children! I am calling you anew: begin the battle against sin as in the first days, go to confession and decide for holiness. The love of God will begin to flow through you into the world, peace will begin to rule in your hearts and God's blessing will fill you. I am with you and intercede for all of you before my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Sacrament of Confession

Pope emphasizes mercy in discourse on Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Pope Francis spoke about how the annual course helps “the Church and Confessors to better carry out the ministry of mercy … priests are called to be generous in making themselves available for Confession. “We must never forget,” he said, “that the faithful often have difficulty approaching the Sacrament of Confession.” And so, priests must work hard to encourage people to draw near to the Sacrament “of mercy and forgiveness.”  >>>

NEWS & LINKS

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

(Matt 18:20)

Through the most difficult and trying times, Mary’s “sorrowing heart was enlarged to make room for ALL men and women, whether good or bad,” and she communicates “her maternal affection to each and every person…

a source of hope and true joy.”

(Pope Francis, January 1, 2014)

Prayer for our Country

God our Father,  Giver of life,  we entrust the United States of America to Your loving care.

You are the rock on which this nation was founded.  You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life,  liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your people.

Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation´s leaders.  Open their minds to the great worth of human life  and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom.  Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will.

Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, Patroness of our land,  grant us the courage to reject the "culture of death."  Lead us into a new millennium of life.  We ask this through Christ Our Lord.

Amen.

WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER OUR MEN AND WOMEN IN THE MILITARY SERVICES,

THEIR FAMILES AND MISSIONARIES SERVING THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

PRAYER: God of peace, You who weep at the violence and wars between your children, help us to walk in the footsteps of your Son. In our darkest hour be our light and show us the way to help those in greatest need. Draw to Yourself those innocent victims who find themselves surrounded by danger and destruction. Hear the prayers of all who cry out to you for deliverance. Through the intercession of Vincent Capodanno, Servant of God, grant strength to the weak, courage to the fearful and hope to those who mourn. Above all, direct our hands this day to reach out and comfort all who yearn for the coming of Your kingdom on earth. Amen

. . . +JMJ . . . PAPAL TWEETS. 04/12/2014: How beautiful it is to stand before the Crucifix, simply to be under the Lord’s gaze, so full of love ... 04/11/2014: Only trust in God can transform doubts into certainty, evil into good, night into radiant dawn. 04/10/2014: Jesus teaches us to not be ashamed of touching human misery, of touching his flesh in our brothers and sisters who suffer ... 04/08/2014: We need to rediscover a contemplative spirit, so that the love of God may warm our hearts ... 04/07/2014: How good it is for us when the Lord unsettles our lukewarm and superficial lives ... 04/05/2014: In the Gospel we can hear Jesus speaking to us every day: may we always carry with us a small copy of the Gospel ... 04/04/2014: With Jesus our life becomes full. With him everything makes sense . . . POPE FRANCIS: God always forgives, celebrates every person's return to him. (Vatican Radio) God always forgives and does not know how to do otherwise, said Pope Francis in his homily at Friday morning Mass at Casa Santa Marta. The Lord always waits for us and forgives us, he said. He is “the God of forgiveness” and he celebrates every person’s return to him... The Pope insisted on the loving welcome of God: “The God who waits for us. God who waits and also God who forgives. He is the God of mercy; he does not tire of forgiving. We are the ones who tire in asking for forgiveness, but he does not tire.” Seventy times seven, always. Let us go forward with forgiveness... “The miracles that Jesus did with many sick people were also a sign of the great miracle that every day the Lord does with us when we have the courage to get up and go to him,” he added. When people return to God, God celebrates “not like the banquet of the rich man, who had the poor Lazarus at his door,” he said. “He holds banquet, like the father of the prodigal son. ” Every person who has the courage to approach God “will find the joy of the feast of God,” he said. “May this word help us to think of our Father, who waits for us always and who always forgives us and celebrates our return.” . . .
